5 Stars & 5 Nymphs for Surrender Love

I'm thrilled with two new reviews for Surrender Love! Literary Nymphs wrote, "I truly believe out of all the lovers I’ve seen Luc with, Rah is the one sent by whatever God grants love and happiness. He’s Luc’s gift for the times over the thousands of years where Luc was suffering or lonely. I absolutely loved this first book of the Surrender Trilogy, and I can’t wait to see where Ms. Allen is going to take us next. Surrender Love is a fantastic book, so if you are new to Luc or are an old fan, you truly won’t be disappointed." The reviewer bestowed 5 Nymphs
How wonderful! I'm so pleased that this reviewer saw Rah the same way Luc and I did.
Rainbow Reviews gave the book 5 Stars and said, "When Luc and Izzy meet the attraction between them is instantaneous, yet both have reason to be cautious. Soon all reasons to stay away from each other are thrown out the window and Luc will do whatever it takes to keep Izzy with him always. ... The author has gone out of her way to make sure all those new to the Luc Saint-Cyr world understand what is going on. The prolog is full of information about the various factions, as well as relationships already established. The characters of Luc and Izzy so complement each other that it is hard to imagine Luc with anyone else. The story itself is fast pace and will keep you reading til the end."
I'm honored by these words and especially gratified to know readers new to the world won't feel lost. Although there are five other books in this universe, I work hard to ensure each book can be read alone. The secrets and conspiracies that run through the background of this series add to the overall enjoyment when read together, but each individual book is packed with action, sex, love, energy, and romance. What more could a reader want?
The story of Luc Saint-Cyr and Izzorah Ceeow was a joy to write and now I'm savoring the creation of its sequels! The next two books about these two are in progress. In Surrender Love, each learned how to surrender his love, and the next books they will learn to surrender to each other's Trust and Will.
Cool trivia: the first reviewer referred to Luc and Rah, while the second mentioned Luc and Izzy. This is because Izzorah's friends, coworkers, and cousins call him Izzy. Luc, however, calls him Rah, which in Luc's native language means "passion". He also nicknames him "kosset" which means "ultimate treasure" -- and readers have been commenting about the different side of Luc they've seen in this book from his previous appearances in five other books.
The blurb for the book describes Luc as we've always known him. "Luc -- the prestige of his power, wealth, and influence directs an empire scattered across the stars. His word shapes the foundations of business and his financial prowess is of mythic proportions. Yet beneath the myths beats the heart of a man who craves what he has never given and is certain he will always be denied -- steadfast, faithful love." In Surrender Love, Luc opens his heart and is vulnerable; there is nothing he can hide from Rah, whose enhanced abilities enable him to sense every shade of emotion.
This book is available now from Loose Id with a gorgeous cover by Anne Cain. I hope you enjoy your trip into the Tarthian Empire, where Romance Lives Forever.
