Character Sketch: Drawn Together - Graig Case @WendiZwaduk #RLFblog @ellorascave

Drawn Together
Genre : Contemporary Erotic Romance
Author: Wendi Zwaduk
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Graig Case wants to teach history and coach baseball. Plain and simple. But nothing in his life has been simple. He's also got a secret. He loves to watch the sexy woman across the courtyard dance. He'd love for his fantasy girl to be his best friend, but fantasy and reality don't always mix.
Tessa Martin has given up on love. She's played second fiddle most of her life. Guys like hanging out with her. But being one of the guys doesn't keep her warm at night. Still, she indulges in her one treat—dancing naked at night for Graig. No emotions involved means no one gets hurt.
Except when they end up working in the same school, in the same hallway. Then all bets are off.
Inside Scoop: This lucky hero gets to take control when his new girl encourages him to spank her.

Who is the significant other in your character's life (hero/heroine)? Tessa Bradley, high school art teacher
How educated is this character? Is he/she book smart, self-taught, widely-experienced? He earned a Bachelor's Degree at Kent State University in education and played college baseball. He's travelled widely with the team and could've played pro ball, but decided he wanted to teach instead.
Does he/she scrape by, live comfortably, live extravagantly?
Graig lives very well, in his opinion. Others might not see his lifestyle as extravagant. He lives within his meansa teacher's salarybut he's not above pampering himself here and there. He likes to be comfortable, but not flaunt himself. He was raised to be thrifty.
What is your character's family like?
Graig isn't close to his family. His mother had an affair with a married man and the affair produced Graig. His father didn't want anything to do with him and his mother was too busy trying to win his father over, so Graig ended up low on the totem pole of life. As he got older, he decided he'd never treat his spouse and children the way he was treated as a child.
How do others perceive your character based upon looks? How true is this assumption?
His co-workers see him as an ex-jock because he's a coach. He's an ex-baseball player, but he's not identified as a former athlete. He wants to look nice and put together as well as looking like he keeps himself in shape. People also think he's a suave, hunky teacher. Females wonder if he's available and males see him as a threat. He doesn't believe he's suave, but he's not about to tell people otherwise.
What past event causes your character the most fear?
His childhood. He's worried he'll turn out like his emotionally distant parents.
Who in his/her life has the power to hurt this character the most? Why?
Tessa, his best friend and girlfriend. When she loses belief in him, it cuts him to the marrow. He's got confidence, but she sees the man beneath the suave teacher persona. She sees the real manflaws and all. When he unintentionally hurts her and she turns away from him, he sees his past coming back to haunt him. He refuses to be the same man his father was, so he works like heck to make things up to Tessa.

About Your Writer: Questions for your character to answer about you.

What do you wish your writer had not told others about you?
I wish she hadn't shared the bits about my parents. I'm not proud of the knowledge my mother cheated with a married man. It's embarrassing.
When your writer is writing about you, what do you think makes him/her the most happy? What makes him/her the most sad?
I think she's happiest when I'm succeeding because she sees me growing in my life. I become a better man through the story. She's sad when I make a boneheaded decision and can't figure out how to rectify it right away.
What do you wish your writer would write next?
I wish she'd write more stories from Valley City High School. I've got some interesting co-workers and they deserve stories.
What other character from your book do you think your writer should write a book about? Care to tell us why?
There are a couple of characters I'd like her to write about. Adam Pallas is one character. He's got a very hang-dog, kicked puppy look to him, but I swear there's more to him than meets the eye. Yeah, he needs to get his girl and have a story told.

Author Bio

I've always dreamt of writing the stories in my head. Tall, dark, and handsome heroes are my favorites, as long as he has an independent woman keeping him in line. I love playing with words and letting the characters run wild.
NASCAR, Ohio farmland, dirt racing, animals and second chance romance all feature prominently in my books. I also write under the pen name of Megan Slayer. Come join me for this fantastic journey!
If you like my work, tell your friends and email me. I love hearing from readers!
