How to Relax on a Deserted Island When Killers Are After You @TheGoddessNaomi #RLFblog #ParanormalRomance

Her Wild Protector
There you are, on a tropical island, with a guy who practically kidnapped you. He says he has a plan to protect you, and so far he's done a good job of keeping you safe from two men, one who turns into a cheetah and another who becomes a panther. Oh, and both of them tried to kill you. This guy is sexy as hell and the more you learn about him, the more you like him, but that doesn't change the fact that he's irritatingly bossy. Throw in the minor problem that there are killers after you and you have a pretty good reason to be off-the-charts stressed out.
How about a session of Tai Chi? This non-aggressive form of martial art has many benefits, including improved posture, better flexibility and what you so desperately need, stress reduction. So when the hot guy (who looks even hotter when he's doing Tai Chi) suggests you join him in his workout, you agree. And surprise! After forty minutes of moving through the forms, you're calmer than you have been for days.
Tai Chi is a great form of exercise. I've done it a few times and wanted to learn a bit more for the scene in Her Wild Protector, where Marshall and Tara engage in this activity. I thoroughly enjoyed doing the research. Here are a few websites to check out if you want to see it in action:
A nice video on YouTube, showing a gold medal champion do The 24 Form:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejB-jBtZqqU
A very nicely put together video of a regular guy doing a Tai Chi warm up. At least I'm assuming he's a regular guy. He could actually be a marital art master!
Watch Jet Li rock his Tai Chi in this movie clip
How about you? What's your favorite way to reduce stress?

About the Book

Book Title: Her Wild Protector
Since waking up on the floor of her apartment after an electrical shock, Tara has felt…different. Colors a little off. Shadows where they shouldn't be. But hot guys glowing blue light and a cheetah drinking a cup of coffee? That's not something you see every day. And why doesn't anyone else seem to notice?
The pillar of blue light is Marshall, a Metamorph—a human who can change at will into an animal or energy form. His human form is damn fine-looking, but that doesn't mean he isn't crazy, with his stories about belonging to a secret government agency and rogue Metamorphs trying to kill her. Plus he wears sunglasses indoors—who still does that? But when there's a panther scratching at her door, she has no choice but to trust Marshall, even if it means her life will never be the same.
