Wolf on the Run

Interview with Cole Blanchard

Tell us about yourself, please.
You know I don't like to talk about myself. (I say nothing and finally he sighs.) Fine, my name is Cole Blanchard and I'm damn werewolf. I live in North Carolina and am part of the Salvation Pack. *glares at me* Are you satisfied?
In the story world your author created, explain what it is you fear most and why.
There's not much I fear, especially when it comes to myself. My pack and Cherise are a whole different thing. I didn't know real fear until I thought I might lose Cherise. *rubs the back of his neck* Yeah, I don't like to think about that.
Tell us about your significant other, that person who makes living worthwhile.
That would be Cherise. *voice deepens to a sexy growl* She's special. She's— *swallows deeply* She's everything to me. She's so damn courageous she breaks my heart. Beautiful too, inside and out.
What would that person say about you?
*laughs* You'll have to ask her that. I'd like to think she'd tell you that she knows I love her and there's nothing I wouldn't do to keep her safe and make her happy.
What is your family like?
My parents are still back in Louisiana, and I haven't seen them in more than two years. My family is my pack—Jacque, Louis, Armand and Gator. I'm not related to any of them by blood but we're tighter than most brothers.
Why are you happy (or not happy) with the way your story ended?
You'll have to read the story to find out the ending. Let's just say I'm happy about some things but I still have concerns about others. (A man of few words, I know Cole is done talking for now.)

About the Writer

N.J. has always been a voracious reader, and now she spends her days writing novels of her own. Vampires, werewolves, dragons, time-travelers, seductive handymen, and next-door neighbors with smoldering good looks—all vie for her attention. It's a tough life, but someone's got to live it.
What was your biggest challenge in writing this book?
My biggest challenge was the fear that I wouldn't do justice to Cole's story. He's such an amazing man and I knew I needed just the right woman for him. Cherise is damaged physically and emotionally but she's so resilient and brave that Cole couldn't help but fall for her.
Are any sequels planned for this book?
The next two Salvation Pack books have already been written. Wolf from the Past will be released October 2015 and Wolf on the Hunt is slated for January 2016. Readers will get to see more of Cole and Cherise and all the Salvation Pack.
Why should readers who haven't picked up one of your books before give this one a try?
If you enjoy a book with a heart wrenching romance, revenge, plenty of action, a smokin' hot werewolf and a wounded heroine with enough courage to melt his heart then you should give this book a try.
Is there anything you'd like to say to your readers?
I want to thank my readers. Romance readers are the best and many of them have willingly followed me through every genre I've written from contemporary, futuristic, and paranormal. They've allowed me to grow as an author and have been incredibly supportive.

Considered an abomination for her inability to shift, Cherise Michaels has been on the run from her pack since she was a teenager. She makes it to Salvation only to be cornered by her pursuers and then rescued by the biggest, baddest werewolf she's ever seen.
Cole Blanchard has no trouble dispatching the intruders trespassing on pack land. Convincing their skittish quarry she's safe is another story. Cole senses she is his mate and he'll protect her to his last breath, even it means risking everything to face her former pack.
In Cole's arms, Cherise learns there's something in this world more powerful than fear—desire and love. She knows loving her is a death sentence for Cole, so she plans to store up a lifetime of memories before she lets him go…
