The Mythologically Torqued Collection @LeighEllwood #RLFblog #LGBT

Leigh Ellwood co-author of Mythologically Torqued answers five easy questions to help readers get to know her better.

Author Bio

Leigh Ellwood writes erotica and romance, primarily M/M and F/F pairings. She loves to read and when she isn’t writing she’s on Twitter, a lot. Feel free to drop her a line at @LeighEllwood.

What's your favorite down-home family style meal? I confess I never miss a meal. It’s difficult to pin down one, but if we’re talking about a large family gathering nothing beats lasagna. I have so many memories of my grandmother’s house, with the extended family gathered for Sunday dinner. Always a large Italian meal, and once in a while they’d let me have some diluted wine.
Describe the perfect vacation. Sunny and 72 degrees, a room with a view of the ocean, a bottomless pitcher of sangria, and a stack of books to read on the balcony.
Tell us about your favorite toy as a child. I still have them! I have a carrying case full of the original Star Wars action figures from Kenner. They’ve been played with, of course, and some of the limbs and necks are loose. I have one of each of the main characters and a few minor people as well. Every once in a while I bring them out to see if anybody will offer a decent price, but as I’ve had them for almost 40 years I may hang onto them a while longer.
When you read for pleasure, what kind of books do you choose? I love historical fiction, especially the Tudor and Edwardian eras in England, and early 20th century America.
If the hero of your latest book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him? Well, he owns a boat called Deacon Blues, so naturally that or any other Steely Dan tune.

Mythology, whether classic or modern, has always taken readers on a magical ride. Mythologically Torqued, volume I, takes those tales from days of old, or more recent history, and places a unique spin on the beloved lore.
The gods of Olympus make appearances, as do deities from Japanese, Norse, and other belief systems. With rampant sexual desires, these gods manage to slake their thirst for passions of the flesh in a rather untraditional manner…if the oral traditions passed down from generation-to-generation were at all accurate.
These fifteen short stories are penned by both seasoned scribes and new authors; the anthology provides readers with the perfect opportunity to explore offerings from their favorite storytellers as well as find a new favorite or two. And, a unique perspective on the stories we enjoyed—or were forced down our throats at the hands of a sadistic English teacher or two—in our youth.
