Rosanna Leo, author of Vice answers five easy questions to help readers get to know her better.

Author Bio

Rosanna Leo is a multi-published, erotic romance author. Several of her books about Greek gods, selkies and shape shifters have been named Top Picks at Night Owl Romance and The Romance Reviews.
From Toronto, Canada, Rosanna occupies a house in the suburbs with her long-suffering husband, their two hungry sons and a tabby cat named Sweetie. When not writing, she can be found haunting dusty library stacks or planning her next star-crossed love affair.
A library employee by day, she is honored to be a member of the league of naughty librarians who also happen to write romance.

What's your favorite down-home family style meal?
I could dream about answering this question for hours and never get bored. My husband makes the most amazing bourbon baked beans. Pair those with BBQ ribs and something like asparagus or arugula salad, and I’m in heaven. The baked bean recipe calls for about 75,000 garlic cloves so we can’t kiss for a week, but it keeps me very happy.
What's your favorite hashtag to watch on Twitter?
#amwriting is always fun and I do watch it a lot. I actually have it programed into my Tweetdeck feed. Lots of writers use it and there are always some interesting writing tips and marketing tools for authors. It’s also a place where writers can vent and find support.
Describe the perfect vacation.
I have two ideal vacations. Firstly, if I can spend time flat out on a beach in the Mayan Riviera, I’m a very happy camper. Especially if someone hands me a drink. However, I also love busy holidays. I just got back from London, England, and had so much fun. It’s one of my favorite spots. Culture, history, fashion, food. It ain’t just pubs and mushy peas anymore.
Tell us about your favorite toy as a child.
I love this question. My favorite childhood toy was Fashion Plates (I’m a ‘70’s girl). I adored my Fashion Plates! For a while, I wanted to be a fashion designer so this toy appealed to my creative side. For those who don’t know the toy, it consisted of plastic templates with models wearing different outfits. You could mix and match the separates, color over the templates and make your own design!
If the hero of your latest book called you on the phone, what would be a perfect ringtone for him?
I think it would be Kenny Rogers’ “Coward of the County.” After all, Vice takes place in the Las Vegas casino world, so this just seems to fit. And although Liam isn’t a coward, he has had to own up to certain issues in his life, and I like that you see this sort of development in the song as well.

He’s much more than a bad habit.
As a Vegas singer and volunteer counselor, Kate Callender has experienced life on both sides of Sin City’s bright lights. The thrill of performing, and gambling’s devastating effect on the addicts’ families.
Liam Doyle is just the kind of man she despises—a handsome, enigmatic businessman with a knack for seducing customers into his casino hotels. Determined to put a lid on his growing influence, she prepares to picket the opening of his newest casino, Vice.
When Liam spots the lone protestor hassling his customers, annoyance wars with instant attraction. And he quickly discovers the leggy redhead not only can’t be bought, she tempts him the way the sound of a roulette wheel lures a gambler.
They are natural enemies, but when a vile attack sparks Liam’s protective instincts, they begin a sexual odyssey that dances on the edge of addiction. Dangerously close to losing control...and losing themselves.
Warning: Contains a sexy, damaged hero who’d really rather just be having sex, and a no-nonsense redhead who makes him want to roll the dice on love just one more time.

  1. Thanks so much for hosting me, Kayelle, and for all your help in posting, Nicole! Very proud to be here.

    1. Great cover! I shared it here, too.

  2. Oh, and I think you're a little light on the garlic cloves for my taste, but I'd still like to try those beans. LOL

    1. You know, Kayelle. You could probably add in a few more garlic cloves. ;)

  3. What a great interview! I remember fashion plates. I had a set in the '80s, along with a pea green Barbie dream house! LOL Those baked beans sound amazing, you'll have to share the recipe!

    1. I had those too. A fun thing to do. One of my friends mishead the name and said something else. It got to be an inside joke that we were fashion "flakes."
