When love runs wild, there are no limits.
Salvation Pack, Book 6
Full-blooded werewolf Elias Gallagher, sole guardian of his half-breed teenage nephews, is all too aware that the world is not a safe place for a werewolf on his own. Doubly so for half-breeds.
He brings his nephews to North Carolina to check out the Salvation Pack’s openness to half-breeds. He never expected to find a mate--the fully human mother of a young boy--while there.
After enduring one tragedy after another over the past two years, Sue Walsh is focused solely on earning a living and raising her five-year-old son. With her ex suddenly demanding custody, the last complication she wants or needs is an attraction to a ruggedly handsome stranger.
But the sexual pull between them is too strong to be denied. And when there’s trouble with the local hunters, Elias will do whatever it takes to protect the people he loves. Even if it means revealing his biggest secret.
Meet Elias Gallagher
Welcome to Romance Lives Forever! We're happy to have you here today.
Name: Elias Gallagher
Age: I’m 50 but I look much younger since werewolves have a lifespan twice that of humans.
Profession: I used to own a construction company with my brother
Ethnicity/Species (if not human): Werewolf
Describe your body and build, skin tone, height and weight. Include any unique features such as dimples, freckles, or scars. I’m 6’2” and about 220 pounds. I have brown hair and eyes. I’m tanned from spending most of my life outdoors.
Who is the significant other in your life?
*smiles slowly* That would be Sue. She’s everything to me.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
What do you want to know? I’m a simple man. I like the outdoors, working with my hands, and my family is the most important thing in my world.
How do you dress?
I’m a jeans and T-shirt kinda guy. No suit and tie for me. I don’t know how guys can breathe in those things.
Please tell us about your education.
Like the rest of my pack, I was home-schooled. I have a basic high school education. Everything else I needed to learn, I did so by doing. I’m good with my hands. *holds hands out in front of him*
Do you get by, live comfortably, live extravagantly?
Personally, I don’t need much, but I want to provide well for my family. My nephews are teenagers. They need freedom and the outdoors, as well as a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs. I want to give Sue a home of her own, a place she can be proud of, a safe place for her and her son to live. She deserves that. I have money and can earn whatever my family needs. We live a comfortable life.
On what special skills do you rely?
I’m a werewolf. That automatically means I’m stronger and faster than any human. I have much sharper senses too. There’s not much I can’t do if I put my mind to it.
What is your family like?
Since the death of my brother and sister-in-law, my nephews are my family. They’re everything to me. Keeping them safe and happy is my goal in life. It’s what brought me to Salvation in the first place. Now I have Sue and her son Billy.
Are you involved in your community?
I’m in a pack. It’s impossible not to be involved. We live close together and share at least one meal a day with other members of the pack. To say we’re close is an understatement.
Do you see morality as black-and-white, or with shades of gray?
Some things are black-and-white. A man loves and protects his woman and his family. He always puts their welfare first. He works hard for what he has. Everything else is shades of gray.
Can you keep a secret? Why or why not?
I’m a werewolf. Of course I can keep a secret. You think we run around telling everyone what we are?
What inner doubt causes you the most difficulty?
I worry most about being able to protect my nephews, and now Sue and her son.
What is your biggest personal flaw?
*laughs* I suppose I can be a bit stubborn at times. But I don’t really see that as a flaw. I see it as being determined.
