Best-selling author, Tina Gayle grew up not knowing what she wanted to be as an adult. Then someone asked her about my dream job, her answer, "I wanted to be a pretender."
So the job of writing books is the perfect job for her. She has a vivid imagination and enjoys creating new characters and heartbreaking situations that her readers can sympathize with as they root for the couple's love to blossom.
Before setting down with her computer, she worked in the corporate world as both an accountant and a programmer. Once her kids were born, she decided to give her dream of being a writer a try and loves to incorporate the heartaches, headaches and fun of being a mother and a woman into my books.
She is now working on finishing her Family Tree series...Summer's Growth and Fallen Leaves. (Paranormal Romantic Suspense) The last two Winter Wonders and Spring Rebirth will come out in the next two years.
She also has been playing around with short stories that tell the problems a number of Baby Boomers are experiencing.
When not writing, she enjoys spending time with my family and traveling around the country. She hasn't hit every state, but she hopes to someday. You might also catch her on the golf course with her husband of 30 years.

Meet Blue Trace from Outside the Lines #romance @allyabishop #RLFblog

Author Bio
When you do something effortlessly and people commend you continuously, you have found your gift.
That's what I tell people all the time. And it's true.
I get story. I always have. I started writing when I was eight on a Smith Corona (the electronic kind -- I'm not THAT old). I wrote stories in every spiral notebook I had. Eventually, I graduated to a Mac (yes, I'm one of THOSE people). I imagined new worlds, emotional conflicts, and HEAs while I waited at stoplights or wandered the grocery store. But here's the thing: I didn't just dream it up and write it down -- I critiqued what I read. I knew when ideas were good, and when they stunk. I ran writing groups, judged creative contests, and eventually got two graduate degrees in writing. That's right: I love it that much.
So here I am, years later, writing kickass heroines and devastating good guys, along with some mystery and vampires thrown in (I promise: THEY'RE COMING). And what's really cool? I do what I love. Wanna write a success story for your life: I promise you, that's it. Do what you love. And hopefully, you can make a living at it too. That's the golden ticket, Charlie.
And chocolate doesn't hurt, either...

About the Book
Title Outside the Lines
Genre Erotic Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Don’t take up space.
Don’t talk too loud.
Don’t tell anyone.
Blue. I’ve always been the problem child. My name alone should have warned anyone with a half a mind that I’d be trouble. Who’s named for the broken crayon nobody wants?
Professor Rhys Kennison should have seen me coming a mile away, and I should have known better than to fall for someone so far out of my league. But his touch is like fire and his taste…like the finest chocolate. What woman could resist that combination?
We’re headed for disaster, though—after all, it’s what I know best. No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop destroying anyone who gets too close. And Rhys doesn’t understand. How could he? When I don’t even understand myself?

Introducing Blue Trace
Welcome to Romance Lives Forever! We're happy to have you here today.

Name: Blue Trace
Age: Twenty-eight
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Bakertown, PA, USA
Profession: That’s up for debate
Ethnicity/Species (if not human): Some days…
Describe your body and build, skin tone, height and weight. Include any unique features such as dimples, freckles, or scars.
5’2”, sunburnable, the ol’ string-bean build—nothing like my sexy sisters, Lux and Zi. :sigh: I’m super freckled, thanks to my frizzy red hair, and my eyes are dishwater green (someone once described them as “mossy,” so I’m going with that).
Who is the significant other in your life?
Currently, no one. But I’ve been seeing someone…well, “seeing” is a relative term, isn’t it? Let’s just say, he’s definitely not my type, and there’s no way this can ever work.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
Oy…not much to tell. I just got laid-off—that’s the nice term for it, so I’m trying to figure out my place in life. My sister Lux insists I should get into art, but I’m not sure. I’m not very good, despite her insistence otherwise. She’s biased.
Life’s a mess right now. Not as bad as it’s ever been…but that’s not comforting, to be honest. Whenever I’m around, it seems like things can slide backwards pretty fast.
Still…I’m repairing my relationship with my sisters, I’m trying to figure out my skills, and at least Dr. Rhys Kennison is crazy-sexy. If you’re going to go down in flames, you might as well make it hot enough to really burn, right?
If we could only hear your voice (but not see you) what characteristic would identify you?
God help you all. Ugh. My voice is, um, normal, I guess? I hate hearing it on voicemail, but I guess everyone does. Plus, I guess you’re kind of doing that now, right—“hearing” me without seeing me? Not sure I’m doing very well.
Please tell us about your education.
Ah, well, you can read about that above. I’m not good in school. I’m not really sure why—I try. My teachers said I was lazy, and I ended up on the “Morons and Mayhem” track in high school—you know, the “remedial” classes. And even there, I struggled, though I eventually passed.
Now I’m taking Pre-Algebra, and even that feels too hard—the letters don’t look right. It’s like they move around or something. I don’t know.
I know I’m failing, and my sister says I should get tutoring. And I will say, if tutoring were always like the last time, I’d be an A-student! ;) But that’s a world of trouble, and I’m trying really hard to get life right this time.
Do you get by, live comfortably, live extravagantly?
Answer D: survive?
Are any of your skills a source of pride or embarrassment, and if so, which ones and why?
I don’t, um, really have any, to be honest. My sister Lux insists I do, and she thinks I should take another look at the whole art thing, but I’m not that good. Not really. And I don’t know how to use Photoshop or anything like that.
Mind you, if I told her that, she’d immediately pay for classes and buy me computer. She’s like that, and I love her for it. Among other things.
What kinds of things do you always carry (in pockets or purse)?
Cash, my bank card, and my little Yoda keychain. Zi bought that for me when I was…eight, maybe? It was originally one of those candy dispensers—Pez, I think they’re called—but the dispenser part broke off, so I threaded silky bracelet thread through it and I carry that. Speaking of, I always have one of those silly luck bracelets on my arm—the kind you buy at dollar stores and wear until they fall off. I don’t know why—I just do.
What is your family like?
Complicated. My mom just died, and she was…mentally ill. I’m still coming to terms with that—I didn’t handle her death well. And my grandmother’s a controlling b—um, *witch*.
My sisters, though, and their partners are great and very supportive. They have a lot of friends I don’t know, so I’m just starting to get comfortable enough to hang out with everyone.
Do you see morality as black-and-white, or with shades of gray?
My *life* is a shade of gray. I’d be a hypocrite to look at others any other way.
How do others perceive you based upon looks, and is this assumption accurate?
I’m small and skinny, so most people think that I need to be protected. Which…if we’re being honest, used to be the case. I’m tougher than I look though.
I’m not ugly—I mean, I got lucky in the sense that I have a decent face and a little makeup does wonders for my eyes. But I’m not curvy, so guys don’t really notice me all that often.
If someone from your past showed up, who would you most want it to be, and why?
My best friend in middle school. When my sisters and I were put into foster care, we moved into a different school district, and I lost touch with her.
If someone from your past showed up, who would you most NOT want it to be, and why?
My ex-boyfriend. I don’t have many…I’m not a commitment kind of girl. But he was a bit of a jerk most of the time.
Can you keep a secret? Why or why not?
Yes. I’ve never taken someone’s trust for granted. Someone like me doesn’t earn trust easily, so I try hard not to screw that up.
What inner doubt causes you the most difficulty?
I don’t know that I’m good at anything, to be honest. What if I’m destined to never be anything more than an underpaid server?
What past event causes you the most fear?
When I was younger, I was a cutter. I’m terrified I’ll do that again.
What is your biggest need?
Heck, if I knew that, I could have saved on years of therapy. Maybe to be seen? Valued?
What are your biggest hopes and dreams?
I’ve always wanted to have my own “thing.” Business, craft, hobby, something. I at least have my apartment. It’s the first place I’ve ever had on my own.
What would help you face hardship and meet any challenge?
I guess I already have it, though I don’t know what *it* is. I’m still standing, after all.
If you could make any one thing happen, what would it be?
To stop hurting my sisters. We’ve all been hurt enough by people who should have loved us. Yet I keep making things worse on them. I try so hard not to be the problem, but some days…that’s all I seem to serve up.
When there is a setback, what doubt or flaw surfaces?
That I deserve this. That’s it all I’m ever going to have.
How do you express disappointment?
In the past or now? Before…not very well. Let’s just say, the red hair wasn’t *enough* warning. But now, with my therapist’s help, I’m able to say what’s bothering me and talk through it.
When (if) you lie or are upset, what gives you away?
:chuckles: My skin. I blush at the drop of a hat.
Who in your life has the power to hurt you the most and why?
My sisters. I would do anything for them.
What would you like people who hear your story to know?
We are lovable, as-is. No magic pill or perfect body will ever be enough for someone who doesn’t think you’re enough as you are right now. I’m not perfect—far from it. I’m damaged, from the scars on my body to the holes in my memory. But I’m enough.
I had to realize that on my own, and let me be enough for *me.* Then I can be enough for someone else too.
You can do that, too, promise. It’s a sucky ride at first, but it gets better. <3

The new #eroticromance by Author MuffyWilson and @ChrissyLaurence #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author

Muffy Wilson, author of provocative romance about love, sex, hope and passion, was born in Texas to traditional parents. With two older brothers, she was the youngest, the family "princess," indulged and pampered. Her father was a career Colonel and pilot in the U.S. Air Force which required the family to travel extensively. Muffy spent her formative years in Europe and 'came of age' in France which forged her joie de vivre and love for books, writing and education.
~ Live, Laugh, Love with Passion
Chrissy Laurence is the cousin of Best Selling mystery writer CKLaurence. Chrissy has always wanted to write, but until her dear friend Muffy encouraged her to do so, she kept the manuscript she had started tucked away without moving forward. Thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate, she forwarded her manuscript to Muffy. It turned out that the two women were a perfect team. Yours to read and enjoy--thoroughly!

Interview with Muffy Wilson

Why did you write this book?
One of my favorite mystery authors, C.K. Laurence (The Mystery of Jessica Benson) and I talked about collaborating on a book together. She wanted to dip her toe, so to speak, into the pool of erotica and erotic romance. We appreciated one another’s writing style and commitment to excellence and thought, if one is good—two is gonna be great! Chrissy (C.K.’s erotica pen name for her more sensitive mystery fans) had begun the outline and I started to work of fleshing out the story. I would finish a chapter and C.K. would edit and finalize the work. Worked like a charm and a year later—voila! We had Cheerleaders.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Perry Mason by Erle Stanley Gardner. I know, sounds ridiculous but when my father was stationed in France in the USAF, we did not have a television. I had just turned thirteen and because of the entire series, I developed an insatiable appetite for mysteries, reading, books of any kind. I spent was free tiem I had at the base library checking out books to read throughout the week. I read everything in criminology: fiction and non-fiction. For a long time I wanted to be a criminologist or a medical examiner. It really shaped my love of reading and knowledge.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I just finished a 20,000 word story I titled Consenting Hearts for an anthology with 20 other well-known authors, Indulgence, sponsored by The Erotic Author’s Guild due out in February 2016. Right now, I am working on a labor of love, my father’s memoire titled, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the War: A Memoire of LtCol. Joe Lyle Jr USAF. My dad was one of the original Top Guns aka Tom Cruise in the early 1950’s and flew transport, fighters and helicopter aircraft from Alaska to France and Vietnam. He was a fine man, an officer and a gentleman and very patriotic, but like most of us, he had flaws, strengths and honor. I want his life to be memorialized for those that are his successors. He is the tenth in a long line of twelve generations of our family that have proudly served the United States of America in the military. After I finish that, I have two series to complete beginning with The Para-Portage of Emily (The Shadow Seduction Series) and Moonbeams of Unintended Consequences (Ribbons of Moonbeams Series) so I should be pretty busy this coming year.
Please tell us about your latest book.
NOTE: Although this novel is lighthearted, campy and full of laughter with an occasional tear and lots of sex, there is a chapter that deals with rage, drugs, rape and is extremely violent. This chapter is not meant to glorify aberrant non-consensual sex and/or drugs and violence in any way. It is a pivotal chapter that lives at point to give Cherie a reason to live, rather than be sucked further into the dark abyss into which she is sliding.
---
Miami Rattlers Cheerleader Cherie Redd is exquisitely beautiful, athletic, and very, very lonely. Romance: a puzzling phenomenon she figured had something to do with guys' fear of rejection or lack of self-confidence because they just didn't have what it takes to win someone like Cherie.
Titillatingly sexy and breathtakingly beautiful, Cherie and her other cheerleading friends often spent their lonely Saturday nights lamenting their beauty and available just for the asking. The prettiest single women around: lonely, loveless and forlorn.
Frustrated by too many quiet nights at home or with other cheerleaders, Cherie was oh-so-eager for romance and a man to seduce her lavishly. She wanted to feel what a real orgasm in the arms of an adoring man was like once again. So, she tucked her vibrator away and took to the Internet. Cherie had no clue how rapidly the seduction would begin or where her life would careen as a result. Painfully naive and overwhelmed by admirers before her spinning head cleared, Cherie was learning things her momma never even knew enough to warn her about.
Follow Cherie and her friends as their sexual scoreboards light up brighter than in any stadium as their downward spiral introduces them to hot ménage sex, perversion and degradation.
Or does it?

“Image isn’t everything
…or is it?”
For Astrid Janvier, image is everything…
Astrid is a world-renowned model, as famous for her strut as her startling green eyes. She’s modeled for the biggest names in the fashion world, and is regularly invited to parties in New York, London, and Paris. Thanks to a designer label addiction, she’s also broke, and takes a job as a cocktail waitress just to make rent. When her best friend Britt asks her to be her maid of honor at her upcoming wedding, their first task is to decide the menu.
Donnie Coehlo is a young, up-and-coming chef with a dinner menu to plan…
Donato—Donnie for short—is the head chef at Thirty-Nine and Twelve, a seafood bistro on the Connecticut shore. It’s a great accomplishment given his youthful age, but Donnie doesn’t brag. He just wants to find the right girl, settle down, and have a bunch of kids. When Astrid arrives at his restaurant, Donnie hopes she is the one. But would a high-priced model like Astrid be interested in a regular guy like him?
As Astrid’s life crumbles around her, and Donnie makes a terrible choice, Astrid learns the two of them are irrevocably tied together.
Will their connection be enough for Astrid to leave her high-fashion life behind, and accept what Donnie has to offer? Or will she chase her dreams as a model, leaving Donnie as part of her past?

About the Author

Jennifer Allis Provost writes books about faeries, orcs and elves. Zombies too. She grew up in the wilds of Western Massachusetts and had read every book in the local library by age twelve. (It was a small library). An early love of mythology and folklore led to her epic fantasy series, The Chronicles of Parthalan, and her day job as a cubicle monkey helped shape her urban fantasy, Copper Girl. Heir to the Sun, book one of the Chronicles of Parthalan, launched June 1, 2015. Changing Teams, the first in a new contemporary series, released November 10, 2015 from Limitless Publishing. The second book, Changing Scenes, will release January 5, 2015.

Snowbound With Ghost a new #paranormalromance by @_Ani_Gonzalez #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author
I write sexy paranormal small town romance (whew, that's a mouthful!) set in Banshee Creek, Virginia, The Most Haunted Town in the USA. The books feature feisty, irrepressible heroines conquering strong, controlling alpha males. My heroes fall and they fall hard and their stories are a lot of fun.
I love to interact with readers so check out my website for my social media links.
Interview with Ani Gonzalez
Why did you write this book?
I love cabins, I love snow, and I love second chance romances. I funny and entertaining.
In Snowbound With Ghost, my heroine, Lily Holroyd, finds herself stuck in a cabin with her ex-boyfriend, Hollywood actor Sebastian Franco. This is a bit of a nightmare for poor Lily. As if this wasn’t bad enough, a supernatural critter is prowling outside. Add some eccentric ghost hunters and The World’s Most Haunted Radio Station and things get crazy really fast.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I read paranormal and contemporary romance and I love humor and fantasy. I mix all of these elements in my books.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb’s In Death series. I think she’s one of the best fictional characters out there and I really hope they bring her to life in a movie or a TV series (along with Roarke who is equally awesome).
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I just finished the first draft of A Very Witchy Wedding, the first book in my new Main Street Witches series. It’s set in the same world as the Banshee Creek series but features more magic and mayhem. This book should be out sometime in March.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Stuck in a snowstorm is bad. Stuck in a snowstorm with the ex-boyfriend you sort-of, kind-of betrayed is even worse. But an otherworldly storm may give Lily Holroyd a chance to reconnect with her old flame, Hollywood heartthrob Sebastian Franco... if they survive the night, that is.

Genre BDSM Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
It takes a strong man to surrender to a dominant woman.
Bernadette Holt isn't looking for love. A child of divorce, she knows it's just a lie. All she wants is a man who can handle a good spanking. At her five-year high school reunion, she meets up with Max—the geek who once followed her like a puppy—who's grown into a successful entrepreneur and a sculpted hunk of man muscle. As devoted as ever, he seems eager to obey her orders. Max's humble adoration slowly wears down the barriers around her heart, but she doesn't trust those feelings.
Tech whiz Max Martinov is CEO of a billion-dollar company, where he makes tough decisions all day. At home, he wants someone else in charge. Bernadette, with her steely exterior and soft heart, has been his dream girl since high school. The tall, beautiful redhead carries deep wounds from childhood that he longs to help heal. But when the ghosts from her past resurface, his love may not be enough to save her.
This novella is for a mature audience. It contains scenes of pain and gentleness, sweet kisses, sensation toys, a well-equipped dungeon, a bossy Domme, and a confident sub who sometimes gets too toppy.

Introducing Bernadette Holt

Welcome to Romance Lives Forever! We're happy to have you here today.
Name: Bernadette Holt
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Pennsylvania
Profession: MBA student
Ethnicity/Species (if not human): White Anglo-Saxon Protestant
Describe your body and build, skin tone, height and weight. Include any unique features such as dimples, freckles, or scars.
From the age of twelve, I've towered over other women. Almost six feet tall, I used to try to hide my height. Not anymore. I've embraced who I am, a bossy, voluptuous, wasp-waisted woman who dominates men for their pleasure and my own.
Who is the significant other in your life?
Most of my relationships were casual, until Max Martinov came back into my life. We went to high school together, and he had a huge crush on me. I didn't appreciate him then, the baby-faced geek who was barely shaving. But he's all man now, a self-made billionaire, broad-chested and sexy as hell. He makes me feel beautiful, and he's the only person who's ever really seen inside my heart.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I had a pretty normal childhood until my mom left when I was nine. Like a lot of kids, I blamed myself for the divorce. My dad isn't the most affectionate person, so it's difficult for me to bond with other people. I don't trust love. It's let me down too many times.
How do you dress?
Outside of a professional environment, I tend to show some skin. I'm not a clothes horse, but I pay attention to my image. Dressy clothes, carefully applied makeup. My long, wavy hair tends to look a bit tousled. I suppose I generate a sort of sexual energy. Most people are intimidated by it, but it draws in the type of strong, self-assured men I'm interested in getting to know better.
If we could only hear your voice (but not see you) what characteristic would identify you?
I've got a raspy voice, and I'm not exactly shy. You can hear me coming. I tend to stand out in a crowd. I'm not looking to be the center of attention, but I tend to get noticed. Which isn't necessarily a good thing. Some people judge me harshly because I don't meet their stereotype of what a nice girl should be. I gave up trying to please those people a long time ago. I can't be someone I'm not. I spent a lot of years trying to, and it made me miserable. The kind of man I'm looking for likes me just fine the way I am.
Are you book-smart, self-taught, widely-experienced?
I don't consider myself book smart, even though I'm working on an MBA from an Ivy League school. I like hands-on experience more than theory—applying practical solutions to practical problems.
What is your viewpoint on wealth?
My mother was a pediatrician, and my father a corporate vice president, so I'd describe my upbringing as upper middle class. But I spent most of my childhood feeling isolated and unhappy, so I don't believe there's any real connection between wealth and happiness. As long as you've got enough to get by—a warm bed and a full belly—that's what matters. A loving family is the most important thing, and no amount of money can buy that. (Believe me, I know.)
What kinds of things do you always carry (in pockets or purse)?
I keep a black bag in the trunk of my car that contains my emergency Domme supplies: wrist cuffs, a short-handled crop, sensation toys. I'd never want to disappoint a man in need, especially if what he needs is stern discipline. ;)
Do you see morality as black-and-white, or with shades of gray?
My morality is based on the Golden Rule. I treat people with respect, and I expect the same in return.
If someone from your past showed up, who would you most want it to be, and why?
I'd want it to be my mom. I lost her to cancer when I was in college, and I miss her every day. I have so many questions about my childhood, things I never really understood. Like why she didn't sue for custody, when she knew my dad and I had a difficult relationship. I'm still haunted by that all these years later.
Can you keep a secret? Why or why not?
My whole life is a secret. No one knows I'm a Domme except others in the BDSM lifestyle. A lot of people misunderstand BDSM and especially dominant women. I'm not cold or cruel. Most of the men I've dated have powerful jobs. In their personal life, they want to let go of control and let someone else make decisions. I help them find balance.
What inner doubt causes you the most difficulty?
Ever since my mom left, I've felt unlovable. The fact that I don't meet that petite, demure feminine ideal reinforces that feeling. Having a man kissing my feet drives away those feelings of inadequacy. But those feelings always come back when I'm alone.
What are your biggest hopes and dreams?
My goal is to be a C-level executive for a Fortune 500 company. In my heart, I want marriage and children, too. But I don't see that happening to me, that fairy tale little girls dream of. I didn't experience a lot of love growing up. I've got no reason to think the future will be any different.
