Snowbound With Ghost a new #paranormalromance by @_Ani_Gonzalez #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author

I write sexy paranormal small town romance (whew, that's a mouthful!) set in Banshee Creek, Virginia, the Most Haunted Town in the USA. The books feature feisty, irrepressible heroines conquering strong, controlling alpha males with a bit (okay, sometimes it’s a lot!) of supernatural help.
I love to interact with readers so check out my website for my social media links.

Interview with Ani Gonzalez

Why did you write this book? Zach and Patricia where the supporting characters in Ghost of a Chance. He’s a bad boy pizzeria owner and she’s a straight-laced baker and they had a lot of chemistry. I knew they would get together at some point. In My Ghostly Valentine they both want the town’s most haunted building, the Rosemoor, and they’ll do anything to get it. They’re hilarious together and things get pretty crazy as the competition heats up. It’s a really fun book.
What is your favorite genre to read? I read paranormal and contemporary romance and I love humor and fantasy. I mix all of these elements in my books.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)? Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb’s In Death series. I think she’s one of the best fictional characters out there and I really hope they bring her to life in a movie or a TV series (along with Roarke who is equally awesome). I also love the characters in Kristen Painter’s Nocturne Falls series. Those books would also make a great TV series!
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months? I just finished the first draft of Fortune Favors the Witch, the second book in my new Main Street Witches series. It’s set in the same world as the Banshee Creek series but features more magic and mayhem (and an adorable fortune-telling heroine). This book should be out sometime in the summer.
Please tell us about your latest book.
Baker Patricia O'Dare wants to buy the famous, but sadly derelict, Rosemoor Bed & Breakfast, and turn it into a luxurious teashop. Only two things stand in her way, bad boy restaurateur Zach Franco, who wants to acquire the building so he can expand his pizza empire, and the B&B's resident ghost. All's fair in love and war, specially where the incorrigible Zach is concerned, but as the fight over the Rosemoor heats up, Patricia fears that she may be winning the battle, but losing her chance at love.

Dominant Persuasions by @AuthorNicMorgan @RomanceRebels69 #EroticRomance #RLFBlog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author

Nicole Morgan is a multi-published author of erotic romantic novels, which more often than not have a suspenseful back story. Erotic romance mixed with a good old-fashioned whodunit. While she's written everything from contemporary to paranormal her leading men will more often than not be wearing a uniform of some kind. From military to police officers, she has a love for writing about those who protect and serve.
From her very first novel (which turned into a four book series) about Navy SEALs to her more recent releases you will be sure to find a few twists and turns you were not expecting.
Nicole currently lives in the Rocky Mountain region where she continues to gain support and inspiration from life's everyday blessings.

Interview with Nicole Morgan

Why did you write this book?
When I first heard of this anthology I was naturally excited by the sheer talent that was going to go into such a project. The authors involved are all immensely creative and have a real knack for spinning a sexy story. Having the theme be BDSM was all the more reason to intrigue me further. Always having loved the genre for some reading pleasure, and having dabbled in it in my book Intimate Confessions, I was curious to challenge myself and see how much farther I could step outside of my comfort zone and leave the ‘vanilla’ behind. And while I may not have written a perfectly decadent devil’s food chocolate BDSM story, I am pleased to say that I did find a little bit of a combination between the vanilla and the chocolate. Besides, what’s better than one flavor, but two? *winks*
What is your favorite genre to read?
I like most genres and can read just about anything, but I tend to steer toward the spicier romances and if they have a suspenseful back story then they’re all the better.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I fell in love with the Callahan Brothers from JoAnn Ross years ago and will still go back and reread those books to this day.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m trying to finish up book 5 in my Sweet Awakenings Series, where a surprise character finally gets his long awaited happy ending… or does he? *smiles*
Please tell us about your latest book.
Three years ago Sophia Hunt was on the tail end of a bad break up and in a vulnerable and confused state of mind when she crossed paths with the sexy and seductive J.T. Mastrantonio.
Stuck in a rut and no longer satisfied with his successful life, J.T. finds an unfamiliar ache when the scared girl who ran out on him years earlier walks back into his life.

The woman he loved was dead and Devon no longer cared what was to become of his future.
Four years passed and Devon’s life had become little more than a drunken haze. All he wanted was the woman he loved back in his life and in his bed. When he reluctantly went to the local Hotel to spend the night with a woman, he didn’t expect her to look so much like Lotte Higgins. He certainly didn’t expect her to turn up at his estate as his wife’s new handmaiden.
When Lotte started work at Devon’s estate, she thought only to reveal the monster who had tried to kill her four years before. She never imagined the whirlwind of passion she would be swept up in with Devon Munroy.
Lotte knew if she were to succeed in targeting her attempted murderer, she would have to keep her true identity hidden from Devon. Lotte wanted nothing more than to tell him the truth, but she feared if she did than Devon’s wife, the woman whom had already tried to kill her once, would discover she had survived that night.
When more bodies began turning up around the town, all brutally murdered, Lotte knew she had let things go on long enough. She would have to tell Devon the truth about his wife and about herself and hope he loved her enough to forgive her deception.

About the Author

Faye Hall's passion driven, mystery filled books are set in small townships of North Queensland, Australia during the late 1800's. Each of her novels bring something symbolically Australian to her readers, from Aboriginal herbal remedies, to certain gemstones naturally only found in this part of the world.
Each of her books tells of a passionate connection between the hero and heroine, surrounded and threatened by deceit, scandal, theft and sometimes even murder.
These romances swerve from the traditional romances as Faye aims to give her readers so much more intrigue, whilst also revealing the hidden histories of rural townships of North Queensland. Faye finds her inspiration from the histories of not only the township she grew up in, but the many surrounding it. She also bases most of her characters on people she has met in her life. Faye was able to live her own passion driven romance, marrying the love of her life after a whirlwind romance in 2013. Together they are raising their 9 children in a remote country town in northern Queensland, Australia.

Follow in the Tigerman’s Footsteps a new #memoir by @Tigermanguest #RLFblog

About the Author

Colin Guest, a 75 yr old Englishman first book was “An Expats Experiences of Living in Turkey,” published by Amazon Kindle. His second, “Follow in the Tigerman’s Footsteps,” published by Partridge Publishing Singapore, is a memoir. It gets its name from Colin’s love of Tigers and covers 19 years of his working as an expat in 15 countries, spread through the Middle, Far East & North Africa. During this time, he lived the kind of life most only dream about. Apart from his two books, he had an article published in his home town in England, carried out a one hour podcast, with a video recording of one chapter of his memoir read on Novels Wild Festival. He also had an article published in ExpatNetwork, a UK expat magazine, with over fourteen of his articles published in online magazines. These include Escape Artist, Escape from America, ExpatNetwork, Expats Focus, Global living and Oval Publishing.
Colin’s working life started with his doing a five-year apprenticeship as a joiner/shopfitter in Plymouth, Devon, England. This led to an early start in first traveling around England on numerous projects, before working on two projects abroad. While working back in England, due to a back injury, he and his wife were put in serious financial difficulties. As a result, after deciding to work as an expat, never looked back.
Apart from his writing, Colin worked as a volunteer at three wildlife rescue/rehabilitation centers, two in South Africa, and one in Thailand. This for animal lovers, he recommends as an alternative to a normal holiday.
After living in Turkey for over twenty years, since the death of his wife, he later married a Turkish lady. They now enjoy a happy second life in Istanbul, Turkey.

Interview with Colin Guest

Why did you write this book?
It started as a record for my children to know more about the 19 years I spent working abroad, but then I thought my experiences would be of interest to others as it shows there is more to life than a boring 9-5 job.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Thrillers
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Reacher from the Le Child series
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I have just started writing my first novel
Please tell us about your latest book.

"Follow in the Tigerman's Footsteps," sub-titled "The Adventurous Life of an Expat," comes from my love of tigers that like me love to roam far and wide. It reads more like an adventure story than a memoir and covers a working life most only dream about. As a qualified joiner/shopfitter, I worked on fitting out shops, banks and offices all over England, as well as a few projects in Scotland. However, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up experiencing travel and working in so many different countries. Readers will see that there is more to life than a boring 9-5 job, with the whole world waiting for you to experience life in a country other than your own.
Until an old company contacted me about a contract in Iran, I had no thoughts about working overseas. Although in two minds about accepting, when made redundant by the company I worked for, it made my mind up. Working in Iran proved both exciting, and dangerous. Without doubt it was a far cry from working in England, especially when along with sixty fellow workers we found ourselves caught up in a revolution. From Iran, my company sent me to Qatar, where life was peaceful and the beaches fantastic. On completing this contract, I returned to work in the UK. While doing so, a back injury cost me my job, resulting in my family and I put into serious financial difficulties. I decided that once cured, as I knew I could earn far more money by working as an expat than in my home country of England, I would work overseas.
As a result, of this decision, I went on to enjoy and incredible life.

Stressing the Hero - House of the Rising Son #LGBTromance by @trevannrogers #RLFblog

Stressing the Hero from House of the Rising Son an LGBT urban fantasy romance by Trevann Rogers.

Author Bio

Trevann Rogers writes urban fantasy and LGBT paranormal romances. Her stories incorporate an unquenchable addition to music and her love for vampires, Weres, incubi and rock stars. Like these elusive creatures, Trevann learned long ago that sometimes being yourself means Living After Midnight.

About the Book

Title House of the Rising Son
Genre LGBT: Paranormal/Alternate Worlds
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Living After Midnight, Book 1
Cheyenne is a half-human incubus whose star is on the rise in the Unakite City rock scene. His father, the leader of the supernatural races, would prefer he keep a “low profile”, but screw that. Cheyenne has as much music in his veins as royal incubi blood.
Alexander's future is all set—finish law school, join the family firm, and marry someone who'd be good for business. Not that he has a say in any of it. He's barely met the woman his father expects him to marry.
As Cheyenne's musical career takes off, his carefully constructed life begins to unravel, exacerbated by an ex-lover who can't let go, a crotchety barkeeper with a dirty mind and a pure heart, a drag queen who moonlights as a nanny, and Alexander—who's not sure if he's falling for the incubus or the rocker.
Cheyenne denies who he is, while Alexander hides what he wants. Together, they learn that getting what they truly want means being who they truly are.
Warning: Contains hot were-tiger sex, a Thanksgiving celebration that makes the Inquisition look like a tea party, and an incubus who'll rock your world.

Stressing The Hero

Every hero has a story. He has a background, a history, and a past. This interview allows us to meet a hero and get to know him better, by focusing on how he handles being relaxed, as well as how he handles stress.

The Hero's Relaxed Side

This hero is at a party. Considering his story, describe the party.
Cheyenne's idea of a party is to play music all night to an appreciative crowd. Boy or girl, black or white, straight or gay—everyone is cool with him as long as they get off on his music. And his incubus nature makes sure that the vibe in the room is about love…and sex.
How does the hero feel about being this particular party, and what body language is he displaying that gives it away?
Cheyenne is always happy to show off his musical talent so he would perform at any party he attended. While performing he is flirty and provocative. He smiles, winks, licks his lips, moves his body sensually. Once he is out of the spotlight, his demeanor changes and he's just Chey.
Is he more likely to mingle or remain aloof?
Cheyenne is more than happy to talk to anyone who approaches him but he is not one to insert himself into other people's conversations. If people are dancing, he is more than comfortable joining the crowd on the floor.
If he drinks, what is his drink of choice at this party?
Cheyenne isn't much of a drinker but will have the occasional Vodka Collins. Extra Cherries.
How much drink is his usual?
Cheyenne never wants to lose control so he would never drink enough to create a problem.
The hero figures out where the hiding places are and then goes there. Is it to hide, to avoid someone, or to go drag a friend back to the party?
Ah, Cheyenne would be most likely to take a friend, new or old, to those hiding places to enjoy each other's company on a more…personal level. He is an incubus after all.
Is he likely to latch onto a friend and stay with him/her and ignore others, or is he the friend that others latch onto?
Because of his natural incubus sex appeal, others tend to latch on to him. His preference is one on one interaction.
If someone picked a fight at this party, how is the hero going to handle it?
Cheyenne would try to make jokes to deescalate the situation but he isn't above fighting if he needs to. And he's good at it.
Is the hero the one most likely to get tossed out of the party, or the one who does the tossing?
Who doesn't want an incubus at their party? So he would probably have to do the tossing.
Will he know when to leave, or stay late and make a nuisance of himself?
Cheyenne would perform, enjoy the company of a few people, and then excuse himself. He knows it's best to leave people wanting more.

The Hero's Stressed Out Side

How does the hero handle it if the cops or some other authority figure pulls him aside when he was blameless in a situation?
Cheyenne always tries to use humor to get out of sticky situations. He would try to charm the authority figure into releasing him or not giving him a ticket.
How does the hero react to hearing a scream?
In Cheyenne's world, a scream would definitely get his attention. If it was a voice he knew, he would rush to help. But if it wasn't, he'd be more careful, suspicious of a trap set by one of his enemies.
If he sees someone being assaulted, what is the FIRST thing that crosses his mind?
"Crap!" Cheyenne is a lover, not a fighter. But he would help someone he considered a victim.
If he sees someone being assaulted, what is the FIRST thing he does?
Cheyenne would probably look around to see if anyone else was going to step up to help the person. He's always suspicious that traps are set for him.
This hero attempts to rescue someone and realizes that he is in over his head. The odds are against him and there is no way out. He is going to get his butt handed to him. What does he do?
Cheyenne has lost many battles in his life, but he doesn't go down without a fight. He protects himself the best he can and doesn't back down. He'll fight until he physically cannot.
The hero runs into the one person from his past he wanted to avoid. He can't get out of the situation and must interact with him/her in some way. What does he do?
Cheyenne would affect bravado and make sarcastic comments. It wouldn't help the situation—might even make it worse—but he would show the person he isn't afraid to face them.
Someone younger than the hero is in charge of the situation, and they are handling it badly, perhaps bungling things. How does the hero deal with it?
If Cheyenne isn't going to be hurt by the situation, and if it wouldn't lead to physical harm to the younger person, he would keep his mouth shut. The last thing he wants is to be in charge of someone else's life or well-being.
The hero is in physical pain but must bear up under it and keep going. What does he tell himself in order to get through the situation?
He tells himself that "Not getting through" is not an option—his kids need him. Cheyenne believes he is self-sufficient and doesn't want to owe anyone for anything, and that includes accepting help. He will survive or fail based on his own merit and he will fight to the end.
What mentor's words come to mind in a bad situation?
Cheyenne's mother was human and encouraged her son to follow his dream, even when his father forbade it. He hears her saying, "You can do anything you set out to do, my beautiful boy. Your father's side gives you strength. I give you heart."
What lesson from his past gets him through a stressful situation?
Cheyenne's attitude, formed in his youth after his mother died, was that no one could be trusted, not even family. As an adult, he met people who proved to him that there are some people who love him and will stand with him against overwhelming odds.

I wanted to give readers the opportunity to read all three of the stories which take place at the Wimpleton’s ball, and feature familiar characters.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Historical romance!  I’m particularly fond of an medieval, Scottish, and Regency, though I’ve read many other subgenres too.
I became hooked on historicals when I was thirteen and a friend gave  me a Barbara Cartland Regency.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I always struggle with this question, because it’s difficult to pick just one. Right now I confess to an infatuation with Ross Poldark and Jamie Fraser. I think it’s the accents!
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I am finishing up Scandal’s Splendor, Book 3 in my Highland Heather Romancing a Scot series, and then I have to jump right into writing a novella for a boxed set releasing in July.
I’ll be writing the fifth and sixth books in the Highland Heather Romancing a Scot Series as well as Intentions Gone Afoul, book 3 in my Conundrum of the Misses Culpeppers,  and—takes a deep breath—writing two more novellas, one for my A Waltz with A Rogue Novella series.
I don’t plan on doing much else this year but writing!
Please tell us about your latest book.

Fly a new #eroticromance by @RedLJameson #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author

Red L. Jameson is an award-winning and multi-published author. She writes in many genres. Her pen name, L. B. Joramo, includes the odd combination of historical and paranormal for the Immortal American Series. However, it is under her “Red” name, her nickname too, where all her stories are strongly laced with love, including contemporary, historical, time-travel, paranormal, and erotic romance. Red lives in the wilds of Montana with her family and a few too many animals, and is currently working on her next novel that she hopes will make her readers laugh, cry, think, and fall in love.

Interview with Red L. Jameson

Why did you write this book?
Fly is the second book in the Wild Love Series, which are all set in Wyoming and/or Montana, where things get a little wild. J But the main reason I wrote the book was for Dee, the protagonist of the story. She’d been talking to me long before I wrote the first book of the series. When I finally dove in and started to write her story, she was nearly screaming in my head. I’m glad she’s taking things easy on me now that her story’s out.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I really don’t know if I have a favorite genre. I like them all so much. If it’s a good story, I’ll read it. If it’s unique and good, I’ll be even more happy. However, I have been drawn to more contemporary erotic romance lately, as well as historical non-fiction of the 1920- 1930s. That was an amazing time.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Hands down, Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. There’s beautiful magic in that book. Scout is so real with so many flaws, but so brave, so special.
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
There’s another full-length novel in the Wild Love Series coming soon. After that a novella, also in the same series. And then back to a full-length contemporary erotic romance book.
Please tell us about your latest book.
**Book 2 of the Wild Love Series, an erotic romance**
Pregnant.
And alone.
My worst nightmare becomes my greatest blessing.
Together, they rescued me, literally saved me from a snowy disaster. Both of them—with their tenderness and compassion. But it's their Navy SEAL, iron-tough, and tattooed bodies that have me wanting more—wanting them. They've transformed me, while I awakened them—showed them the beauty of what could be.
Two months ago, I would've chosen one, seduced him like only I know how. But that was two months ago, and so much has changed. I can't tell them about the baby. I couldn't bear it if they walked away—out of my life.
I'll have to tell them. This can't continue. They both want me, and my resistance is waning.  I want what I want—and I want them.
Both of them.

Promising a new #NewAdultromance by @RebelMillerBoox #RLFblog

This quick interview includes info about the author, and introduces the story.

About the Author

Rebel Miller is an author who overindulges in Pinot Grigio, caramel popcorn and an eclectic mix of movies, music and angst-filled romance novels.
Rebel earned a graduate degree in Communications and Culture from Ryerson University and an undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies.
Rebel lives in the outskirts of Toronto, Canada with her husband and two sons.

Interview with Rebel Miller

Why did you write this book?
This question always stumps me! I think the reason is because the story had been percolating in my mind over a number of months, demanding that I write it.
I envisioned developing a New Adult romance that was set against an intensely dramatic backdrop and was unexpected in every way, yet would still resonate with readers of the genre – whether lovers of contemporary or futuristic settings. For me, that meant creating a world set hundreds of years in the future where I could challenge the female lead, Kira Metallurgist, in her assumptions about her social class, identity, sexuality and what it means to be in love. As Kira starts out on her career path and finds herself in a tangled love triangle, I include a lot of thematic notes that readers will be able to identify with while enjoying her out of this world journey.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Hmmm. Well … let me think. LOL. Anything romance, of course! I also love thrillers/suspense. Having now started on my third book and plotting for future novels, I can see where my reading preferences are coming through my work!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
There are so many! All right, if I must choose, the character that first comes to mind is David Strorm from The Chrysalids by John Wyndham. I love this book so much that I referenced it in my first novel, Awakening. While it isn’t a romance, the story has stayed with me since I first read it for English Literature class in high school. In fact, I have a copy on my bedside table right now!
What are you working on at the moment, and will see from you in coming months?
I’m well into writing the final book in The Realm Series, which will be the final instalment in Kira’s story. In this novel, I place Kira in even more challenging and emotional situations. She’ll be confronting a lot of her secrets and fears and, of course, make a decision on who to be with – whether Gannon or Tai ... or, hey, maybe she’ll end up with both! I’m excited to see how it all works out!
After that, I head right into writing my first stand-alone novel. It will be a contemporary romance (suspense). Following this story, I’ll head back into The Realm Series, but writing the story for Liandra Ambassador who we first meet in Awakening. Stay tuned for details!
Please tell us about your latest book.
Promising, the riveting follow-up to Awakening by Rebel Miller.
Faced with diverging loyalties — between those she loves and her responsibility to the Realm — Kira has to make heartrending and strategic decisions that threaten to jeopardize her future.
As her connection to Tai deepens and turmoil in the Realm builds, so does Gannon’s frustration at being unable to call Kira his own.
Worlds at War ... A Heart in Conflict
While the Realm stands defiant amidst rising unrest, Kira is thrust into a role that puts her at the forefront of her system’s governance and law, supporting a landmark position. Following a devastating turn of events, she turns to Tai for a shoulder to lean on after making a painful choice to ensure Gannon fulfils the role he was meant for.
As she becomes a reluctant - yet inspiring - voice for her caste, Kira learns about one of the Realm’s most well-kept secrets and how far leadership will go to prevent it from being revealed. What she doesn’t know is how much the decisions of her past have the power to bring enemies into her path, threatening to destroy everyone she holds close to her heart.

Stressing the Hero from The Gazillionaire and the Virgin a BDSM erotic romance by Lisabet Sarai.

Lisabet Sarai occasionally tackles other genres, but BDSM will always be her first love. Every one of her nine novels includes some element of power exchange, while her D/s short stories range from mildly kinky to intensely perverse.

About the Book

Title The Gazillionaire and the Virgin
Genre  Contemporary BDSM Erotic Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings):  R
When Silicon Valley entrepreneur Rachel Zelinsky meets reclusive genius Theo Moore, she finds him strangely compelling. Theo is both arrogant and socially awkward, but he has an aura of power that speaks to Rachel’s carefully-hidden submissive side. Disturbed and aroused, she tries to focus on her original objective—a deal to incorporate his Artificial Intelligence software into her company’s popular virtual world. Rachel’s not a woman who lets pleasure interfere with business, but for some reason, she can’t resist Theo’s geeky appeal.
Theo Moore can’t be bought. His past battles with poverty make him deeply suspicious of the billionaire CEO. Still, with her voluptuous curves and brilliant mind, Rachel embodies his ultimate sexual fantasy. Too bad his knowledge about sex derives from extensive research and a stash of kinky porn rather than real-world experience.
That doesn’t bother Rachel, however. In his bed—in his arms—in his bonds—she discovers the bliss of total surrender. Rachel may be Theo’s first lover, but Theo is Rachel’s first true Master—and the first man to truly touch her heart. It seems that love may harmonize their differing goals and values, until Rachel’s unwitting violation of Theo’s trust threatens to tear them apart forever.

Theo actually does attend a party in the book, a fund-raising event for his technology charity Code in the Hood (CIH) that’s organized by the heroine, Rachel Zelinsky. The event takes place at the Computer History Museum, a real museum in Silicon Valley. There’s an open bar, a buffet, a band playing soft rock, and lots of technology executives with cash to burn milling around.
He’s anything but relaxed, though!
How does the hero feel about being this particular party, and what body language is he displaying that gives it away?
He’d rather be almost anywhere else. He parks himself at a table in the corner and fidgets with the CIH brochures stacked up in the center, at least until Rachel drags him out to socialize with potential donors.
Is he more likely to mingle or remain aloof?
He’d much rather remain aloof, but Rachel won’t let him. However, once he gets started talking about the charity which is his personal passion, his nervousness disappears.
If he drinks, what is his drink of choice at this party?
At this party he has his first taste of champagne. And he likes it very much!
How much drink is his usual?
Theo hardly ever drinks. Once he tastes the champagne, though, he wants more.
The hero figures out where the hiding places are and then goes there. Is it to hide, to avoid someone, or to go drag a friend back to the party?
Theo would love to hide. Crowds and strangers make him terribly anxious.
Is he likely to latch onto a friend and stay with him/her and ignore others, or is he the friend that others latch onto?
He hangs on to Rachel for dear life. She’s the only person he knows at the party, and the only one who can keep him from panicking.
If someone picked a fight at this party, how is the hero going to handle it?
If you asked Theo this question in the abstract, he’d tell you that he’d run and hide. In fact, he’d probably try to break up the fight, then possibly freak out afterward.
Is the hero the one most likely to get tossed out of the party, or the one who does the tossing?
He’s not likely to get tossed out. He’s generally pretty mild-mannered. It’s pretty difficult to imagine him tossing anyone else out, though physically he could manage this.
Will he know when to leave, or stay late and make a nuisance of himself?
He’d rather not be there at all, so he’d probably leave as soon as he could slip away.

The Hero's Stressed Out Side

How does the hero handle it if the cops or some other authority figure pulls him aside when he was blameless in a situation?
He will try to reason with the cops. He might get sarcastic. If he’s not successful in convincing them to release him, he’ll probably sulk.
How does the hero react to hearing a scream?
His first reaction will be to try and discover who screamed, and why. If he believes someone is being hurt, he’ll temporarily forget his self-consciousness
If he sees someone being assaulted, what is the FIRST thing that crosses his mind?
He wonders what was going on, and why.
If he sees someone being assaulted, what is the FIRST thing he does?
In fact, he probably wades into the fray, trying to pull the assailant off the victim. Later, he won’t believe he’s done this.
This hero attempts to rescue someone and realizes that he is in over his head. The odds are against him and there is no way out. He is going to get his butt handed to him. What does he do?
When Theo can’t utilize his physical skills to implement the rescue, he’ll fall back on his intellectual abilities. He’ll try to figure out some way to trick his opponents, or to sneak away.
The hero runs into the one person from his past he wanted to avoid. He can't get out of the situation and must interact with him/her in some way. What does he do?
He becomes very stiff and formal. He keep his words to a minimum, saying only what is absolutely necessary.
Someone younger than the hero is in charge of the situation, and they are handling it badly, perhaps bungling things. How does the hero deal with it?
He’s surprisingly bossy, giving instructions and perhaps getting a bit impatient if the person in charge doesn’t obey. He might resort to sarcasm or ridicule.
The hero is in physical pain but must bear up under it and keep going. What does he tell himself in order to get through the situation?
He thinks about the safety and comfort of his home, and how good it will feel to finally arrive there.
What mentor's words come to mind in a bad situation?
“Don’t underestimate yourself. Expect to succeed.”
What lesson from his past gets him through a stressful situation?
He remembers how he saved Rachel from a cyber-assault. That reminds him how powerful he really is.
