Welcome to Romance Lives Forever. Your author introduced you. Now we'd like to get to know you better. Please tell us about yourself.
What more can I tell you. No, seriously, there’s not much I can say. Somethings are best left alone, like me. Still, if you dare rattle the cage, you might get more than you expected. Don’t turn on me, and you’ll live a long and peaceful life. Cross me, and you might as well start digging your own grave. It’ll save me time. (shifting in the chair) Of course Gavin might have a few things to say about it, but it’s not like I have to listen, right?
When someone dies, we say they "kicked the bucket." Therefore, a list of things that a person wants to accomplish, places to go, situations to experience, and so on have become known as a "Bucket List." We'd like to know yours, please. If you haven't made one before, perhaps now would be a good time. Who knows? It might inspire another book. While you're at it, how about telling us about some of your other favorite things? Here are the questions.
What are two places you would like to visit before you die, and why?
Hmmm, I haven’t really thought about it much, considering a Wraith’s life expectancy can be cut short rather abruptly. (drumming fingers on table) I wouldn’t mind a trip back to Europe, maybe check out Ireland, where my mother’s family came from, see if anyone remembers her. Of course, that may stir up more trouble than it’s worth.
Where is a place you would never like to return, and why?
(eyeing Kayelle) Is this a trick question? Let’s just go with Aaron Talbot’s lab, and the reason should be self-explanatory. Three months under that mad man was more than enough for me, thanks.
Who is someone you would like to meet, and why?
(slow, spreading smile of grim intentions) Gavin and I have discussed a possible trip to Turkey, maybe drop in on a few Council members, convey our regards, make our presence known, that kind of thing.
Who is someone you would like to avoid, and why?
I’m not much on avoidance, but I might actually step carefully around Rio Castle, the demon lord of the Southwest. Yeah, that old bugger might worry me a bit.
If you could time travel to any date, what would it be, and what would you do there?
(paling a bit, lips tightening, looks away) It’s not just one. Having those I love pay for my mistakes isn’t something that sits easy with me. (inhales and turns back to face Kayelle) The most obvious answer is the night my mom and I were kidnapped. I’d make sure Talbot and his cronies thought hard before coming after us.
What is your birth order?
I’m an only child, which isn’t so bad for me, but my uncle may wish differently.
Tell us about your favorite toy as a child.
(face softening) My mother’s dirk. I keep it close, even now.
Describe your favorite food and how it's prepared.
Hmmm, Gavin’s pasta primavera, all those grilled veggies and cheese. Yeah, it’s my favorite dish. (a serene, secretive smile) He’s great in the kitchen and rocks an apron like no one’s business.
Tell us about your best friend.
(chuckling) That would be Xander Cade. That girl. (shakes head) Men see this little curvy blonde and think they’ve got it made. Boy are they in for a surprise. Never underestimate the power of a woman, especially one with sharp claws and even sharper teeth. Her bite is way worse than her bark. Just ask Warrick Vidis.

Q:  Describe the perfect vacation.
A:  My perfect vacation would be to stay in a castle in Scotland.  During the days I would tour the country and historical venues.  After the evening meal at a local pub, I would sit in the castle’s garden overlooking the loch and write of my day’s experiences or work on a new novel.
Q:  Tell us about your favorite toy as a child.
A:  My favorite toy as a child was my plastic horses.  I often played with them outside and would create stories about their antics.
Q.  What are your hobbies?
A:  I love photography, and for me, taking pictures is like creating art through the lens.  It’s a blast seeing what unique angles and shots I can get.  I post photos often on my Facebook Author page.  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Diana-Cosby-Romance-Author/150109024636?ref=ts
Q:  When you read for pleasure, what kind of books do you choose?
A:  When I read for pleasure I love medieval romances and romantic suspense.
Q:  What kinds of things do you read when you're researching a new book?
A:  When I’m researching a new book, I have several ‘go to’ research books for Scotland in the 1200 and 1300’s.  In addition, I make a timetable that I use for my story.

Genre Scottish Medieval Romantic Suspense

Book heat level (based on movie ratings):  PG13/R
Lady Sarra Bellacote would sooner marry a boar than a countryman of the bloodthirsty brutes who killed her parents. And yet, despite—or perhaps because of—her valuable holdings, she is being dragged to Scotland to be wed against her will. To complicate the desperate situation, the knight hired to do the dragging is dark, wild, irresistible. And he, too, is intolerably Scottish.
Giric Armstrong, Earl of Terrick, takes no pleasure in escorting a feisty English lass to her betrothed. But he needs the coin to rebuild his castle, and his tenants need to eat. Yet the trip will not be the simple matter he imagined. For Lady Sarra isn’t the only one determined to see her engagement fail. Men with darker motives want to stop the wedding—even if they must kill the bride in the process.
Now, in close quarters with this beautiful English heiress, Terrick must fight his mounting desire, and somehow keep Sarra alive long enough to lose her forever to another man…
